Sunday’s message dug deep into the power of God. Here’s a 5-day Bible reading plan and devotional guide based on power, faith, salvation, hope, and suffering.

Day 1: The Power of God’s Love

Reading: 1 John 4:7-12

Devotional: God’s love is the ultimate source of power in our lives. As you reflect on these verses, consider how God’s love transforms us and empowers us to love others. Just as Jesus demonstrated deeds of power through His love, we, too, are called to show God’s love in tangible ways. How can you demonstrate God’s love today through your actions and words? Pray for the Holy Spirit to fill you with God’s love and empower you to be His hands and feet in the world.

Day 2: Faith that Moves Mountains

Reading: Mark 11:22-24

Devotional: In these verses, Jesus teaches us about the power of faith. True power comes not from our own strength or abilities but from our trust in God. Reflect on areas in your life where you need to exercise greater faith. Are there situations where you’re relying on your own power instead of God’s? Ask God to increase your faith and help you trust Him more fully. Remember, with faith in Christ, all things are possible.

Day 3: The Gift of Salvation

Reading: Ephesians 2:4-10

Devotional: Our salvation is a powerful gift from God, not something we can earn through our own efforts. As you meditate on these verses, consider the magnitude of God’s grace in your life. How has God’s saving power transformed you? Take time to thank God for His gift of salvation and reflect on how you can live out your faith in response to this incredible gift. Ask God to help you use the good works He has prepared for you to do as a testimony to His saving power.

Day 4: Hope in Times of Trouble

Reading: Romans 15:13

Devotional: Hope is a powerful force that can sustain us through difficult times. This verse reminds us that God is the source of all hope. As you reflect on this passage, think about areas in your life where you need hope. How can you open yourself to receive God’s hope more fully? Pray for God to fill you with joy and peace as you trust in Him, allowing His hope to overflow in your life and touch those around you.

Day 5: God’s Presence in Suffering

Reading: 2 Corinthians 1:3-7

Devotional: These verses remind us that God is with us in our suffering and uses our experiences to comfort others. Reflect on times when you’ve felt God’s presence during difficult situations. How has God comforted you, and how can you use that experience to comfort others? Ask God to help you be aware of His presence in all circumstances and to use your experiences to minister to others who are suffering. Remember that in our weakness, God’s power is made perfect.
