Day 1: Living with Wisdom

Reading: Ephesians 5:15-21

It is important to live carefully and wisely, especially during times of transition. As we navigate life’s changes, we must remain devoted to God and mindful of how we live. Today’s reading reminds us to make the most of every opportunity and to seek God’s will. Reflect on areas of your life where you need more wisdom. How can you be more intentional about seeking God’s guidance in your daily decisions? Remember, true wisdom comes from being filled with the Spirit and living a life of gratitude and praise to God.

Day 2: Identity in Christ

Reading: Galatians 2:20-21

Today’s reading reminds us that our identity is rooted in Christ – we have been crucified with Him and now live by faith in Him. In a world that constantly tries to define us by external stands,  how can you reinforce your identity in Christ? Consider writing down specific truths about who God says you are and meditate on them throughout the day. Let your actions and decisions flow from this core identity as a child of God.

Day 3: Strength in Transition

Reading: Isaiah 40:28-31

Life’s transitions can be challenging, but today’s reading reminds us of the renewing strength available to those who wait on the Lord. Reflect on a current transition or challenge in your life. How can you actively wait on the Lord in this situation? Remember, waiting isn’t passive – it involves trusting, praying, and expecting God to work. Ask God to renew your strength today and help you rise about your challenges with His power.

Day 4: Walking in the Spirit

Reading: Galatians 5:16-25

Today’s reading contrasts the works of the flesh with the fruit of the Spirit. As you read through the list of spiritual fruit, which ones do you see growing in your life? Which ones need more development? Ask the Holy Spirit to help you cultivate these qualities, especially in areas where you struggle. Remember, walking in the Spirit is a daily choice to submit to God’s leading and to resist the pull of our sinful nature.

Day 5: Devotion in All Seasons

Reading: Romans 12:1-2

Today’s reading calls us to offer our entire selves as a living sacrifice to God. This is the essence of true devotion. Reflect on what it means to be “transformed by the renewing of your mind.” How can you cultivate a mindset that is more aligned with God’s will? Consider areas of your life that you haven’t fully surrendered to God. Today, recommit yourself to full devotion to God, allowing His love and purposes to shape every aspect of your life.
