Day 1: The Peace of God

Reading: Philippians 4:6-7

In a world full of turmoil, God offers us His peace that surpasses all understanding. The sermon speaks of finding “peace within” and being glad of “this day’s journey.” Today, reflect on the peace that God provides, even in the midst of life’s challenges. How can you cultivate this inner peace and share it with others? Remember that God’s peace is not dependent on circumstances but on His presence in our lives.

Day 2: Jesus, Our Rock and Shield

Reading: Psalm 18:2

The choir sang about Jesus as “my rock, sword and shield.” This imagery reminds us of God’s protection and strength in our lives. Consider the areas in your life where you need God’s strength and protection. How can you lean more on Jesus as your foundation and defender? Take time to thank Him for His unwavering support and commit to trusting Him more fully in all aspects of your life.

Day 3: Divine Healing and Provision

Reading: Jeremiah 30:17

The choir sang about Jesus as our “doctor” who “writes up all our prescriptions.” This metaphor beautifully illustrates God’s role as our healer and provider. Reflect on the areas in your life–physical, emotional, or spiritual–where you need God’s healing touch. How can you open yourself to receive His healing and provision? Remember that God’s prescriptions for our lives often come through His Word, prayer, and the support of fellow believers.

Day 4: Practicing What We Preach

Reading: James 2:14-17

The sermon emphasizes the importance of “practicing what you preach.” James reminds us that faith without works is dead. Consider how your actions align with your professed beliefs. Are there areas where you need to bridge the gap between what you say and what you do? Commit to living out your faith more authentically, showing God’s love through tangible actions and treating all people with equal dignity and respect.

Day 5: Living Under the Noble Name

Reading: 1 Peter 2:9-10

The sermon speaks of living “under the noble name” as children of God. Peter reminds us that we are a royal priesthood, called to declare the praises of Him who called us out of the darkness. Reflect on what it means to live as God’s chosen people in your daily life. How can you represent Christ more faithfully in your interactions with others? Embrace your identity in Christ and let it transform how you view yourself and others, living out the love and grace you’ve received.
